A stunning picture book featuring a lost polar bear, some helpful crows, and the effects of climate change.
When Leaf washes up on the shore of the wild wood, the other animals fear the large, strange, dangerous-looking creature. It isn’t until they talk to him that they learn the truth of his arrival.
A lovely tale that works in the importance of communication, not judging others by appearance, and helping those in need, all within a folklore-style story on the effects of climate change on animals and their habitats.
While the story is heartfelt with fantastic messages, the artwork is what makes this book really shine. Fantastic incorporation of texture and color. Each page is its own masterpiece.
A beautiful book, whimsical and lovely, seeped with important messages for all audiences.
