In a world divined between the Outside and the Inside, a little girl finds herself in the care of one of the Outsiders, a humanoid beast who could curse her with a single touch. Follow their unexpected friendship as they navigate the Outside and the evils it houses.
The story is a delightful blend of sweet and dark. A bit of sadness, a bit of mystery, and the ever-present question of what defines good and evil.
You can’t help but instantly fall in love with the main characters. I really enjoyed witnessing Teacher and Shiva’s interactions.
Lovely illustrations. Equal parts haunting and wholesome.
Such a fascinating start to the series. Can’t wait to read the next volume.
