A sweet story about vanity, pride, and inward and outward beauty.
Prettina the winter weasel is sure she is the most beautiful creature in all of the Land of Barely There. She journeys around to see if anyone can compare. But when trouble finds her, she encounters an old butterfly named Gossamer who teaches her an important lesson.
The artwork is absolutely gorgeous. Stunning colors and wonderful full-page spreads. They really transport you to the Land of Barely There.
It is quite a wordy picture book by today’s standards, but provides cozy descriptions and wonderful narration.
Entertaining and sweet with a nice message about the importance of inner beauty.
