An adorably cozy fantasy story.
After an important pastry order is placed, bakery apprentice Juniper sets out with Hadley the bard to collect special mushrooms for the recipe. On their journey, they stumble upon a mystery. Something is eating all the farmers’ crops… something big. Looking for inspiration for their songs, Hadley convinces Juniper to investigate and the two set out into the mysterious forest in search of the culprit.
Baked goods, low-stakes adventures, new friends, and cute crushes. This is so cozy and sweet and adorable.
Beautiful artwork. I love the character designs. Great themes of open communication and mindfulness of established ecosystems.
A fantastic story for those who enjoy cozy reads like The Tea Dragon Society.
