A visually-stunning story promoting peace and kindness, especially between feuding siblings.
Using second person narration, the story follows two sisters who, after a day of fighting, share a dream of dragons.
The artwork is absolutely stunning. I really enjoyed seeing all the different dragons. Definitely a good fit for young dragon lovers.
The story itself was okay. It promotes kindness and conflict resolution without really providing strategies for doing so. I loved the dreamy elements and the dragons, but the story’s conclusion is rather vague. The message is summed up as “Be kind” without giving more depth. Would have liked to see more specifics on developing empathy, and how and why you should be kind to others.
At the back is information about different dragons from around the world and an encouragement to come up with a dragon of your own.
A magical little adventure with beautiful artwork.
