This is a very cute little story. I loved the illustrations and the story itself. I really enjoy books told from a child’s point of view.

This book is structured similarity to the Little Critter books where the child has to listen to what the character says and then compare it to the picture to see what really happened. This is a great way for parents and children to interact with books together. (“He said he packed the lunches. What did he put in there? Is that a healthy lunch?”) The situations were very silly and at the same time, teaches children sympathy and understanding for all the things parents have to do.

Great read!
