Basically this is a nice easy read with a whole lot of problematic characters.
I liked the premise of the book. The whole Seven Stones idea was pretty cool and I enjoyed the concept of the Unmentionables.
But the characters were ridiculous. Lizzy, as far as I can tell, is pretty much a weaker version of Stephanie Plum who makes cupcakes. Besides not being very original, Lizzy has a creepy relationship with Diesel, who continually makes inappropriate sexual comments regarding her despite her verbal rejections. But Lizzy is okay with it because Diesel is hot. Seriously? Their relationship is ridiculous and gets pretty annoying pretty quick considering how much text is dedicated to their silly banter.
The text is easy to read and I got through it fairly quickly. It can pretty much be summed up as good story, horrible characters.
