This was by far my favorite book in the original trilogy. This book was much easier to follow in comparison to the first two books, because instead of covering over a hundred years, the events all take place relatively close to each other and the narration focuses on the same characters. There were a lot of twists and turns, which made the reading confusing yet fun. At some points, it seemed like Asimov was trying a little too hard to outsmart his readers as the story went back and forth as each character tried to outsmart another who in turn tried to outsmart the first character and so on and so fourth. But overall, I think the plot twists worked well and I really enjoyed this book.
