This book is absolutely beautiful. I have read the original book a handful of times and loved it. I did not think that I could possibly love it more. But then the illustrated edition came out and it is spectacular. The same amazing story that captured my imagination as a kid, now with gorgeous full-color pictures. Amazing. Absolutely amazing.

Last year, I read the illustrated edition of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Of course I loved it. This has the same spellbinding, high-quality artwork as the first. I really like how the pictures stay true to the words written in the story and do not rely on the movie versions.

Awesome book. I can’t wait to buy the third one.
