This is a good book for young readers just getting in to Pokemon. It goes through some of the basic Pokemon and their evolutions, including their Alolan counterparts. Some Pokemon featured in the book include Psyduck, Meowth, Mew, Snorlax, Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, and of course Pikachu.

Each Pokemon has a brief description, an accompanying picture, and a stat sheet listing category, height, weight, and type.

This book is just a guide to basic Pokemon, not an actual story.

Interesting read for fans of Pokemon who want to learn more about the various types.
