A nice book with a great message. This is the story of Blip, a little robot who loves her computer, and what happens when there is a blackout. A great book that acts as a reminder to all of us that there is more to life than electronics. It is easy to justify letting a kid play a game on the computer because it is “educational” or giving them an iPad to keep them busy for a while, but it is important to remember that there is a whole world to explore and learn from. I liked that this book wasn’t about electronics being horrible. It was about how going outside and spending time with others can be better and more fun. Nice illustrations. I loved the contrast of black-and-white vs. color in the pictures. A very well-done book that is enjoyable and has an important message.
