A great beginning reader book starring Daniel Tiger. This is a Ready-To-Go! book meant for new readers. It uses sight words, repetition, rhyming, and simple language to help children who are learning to read. As with many beginning reader books, this one doesn’t really have a story, however it is set up like a game, which makes it very engaging. Throughout the book, Daniel asks “What do you see?”. The child can label what they see and try to guess what Daniel is indicating. Fun way to make a simple book more engaging. At the end of the book, there are a few simple questions to get children thinking out what they read. Overall, this was a very good beginning reader book that was fun and engaging.
