A nice, empowering book about Batgirl. This is a Step 2 book, recommended for preschool to first grade. The book uses simple word choice, short sentences, and a basic story to read with help. Like many Step 2 books, this is more of an introduction to a character rather than a full story. But it is action-packed with some great illustrations. Several heroes (Batman, Robin) and villains (Poison Ivy, Joker, Harley Quinn) makes appearances in the book. A good book for children learning to read, especially those who like superheroes.
