Okay read. I don’t know a ton about the Lego Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu series. I have watched a few episodes, but I’m usually cleaning or crafting at the same time so I don’t pay a lot of attention to it. More of just background noise.
This was an okay book. It is a Level 2 book for grades 1 to 3. It is meant for developing readers and uses new vocabulary and longer sentence length.
While the story is interesting, it’s not a full story. Instead it is just an introduction to the Mystery of the Masks plotline. It gives the basic set up of the plot then ends very abruptly.
Pictures were okay. They have the telltale blurry quality of screenshots taken directly from the show.
The book is set up in chapters, each a few pages long, which helps to break up the text.
Overall, it was okay, but there wasn’t really any action, just all set up.
