Nice story featuring your favorite Disney princesses… in Lego form! I liked the concept of the story. It starts off by saying that a little girl put all of the princesses’ castles together and came up with stories about them. It then goes on to tell one of the stories. Very cute idea. Loved that the focus is on the little girl and her creativity. The story itself was good. Great message about helping others, thinking in new ways, and determination. And I really liked that the princesses actually got to build something. No waiting around for princes in this story. They come up with their own solutions to the problem they face. I also liked that the illustrations featured a mix of Lego creations, cardboard cutouts, and cloths scraps. It really feels like looking at a world created by a child in play. This is the first Lego Disney Princess book I have read, but I enjoyed it. Wonderful idea for a series. Goodreads |
