This book is adorable, I don’t care what anyone says. Similar in style to books like Barnyard Dance! and Blue Hat, Green Hat, this book describes some silly animals and explores opposites.

I picked this up from the library, because… space cows. What more reason do you need? I figured it would be silly, but it was actually quite entertaining as well. Good look at opposites like low/high, big/tiny so you can play the educational card. But also silly and fun (“Some of them quack… but most of them moo.”).

Adorable illustrations as well. I loved the silliness of it all.

Yes, there’s the whole thing about no sound in space, making the issue with the baby space cow obsolete, but I really wasn’t looking for a realism in a book about space cows.

Very cute and entertaining. I really enjoyed this one.
