I have not watched the Nella the Princess Knight show yet, but I always see books based on it at the library. Finally, I gave in and decided to read some.
This was actually a very good book. Sometimes, as an adult, I find early readers very boring, but this one nicely summarizes the story in simple language for young readers.
This is a Step 2 book, recommended for preschool to grade one readers, which uses simple words and short sentences. I liked that this book actually had a plot instead of just description. I think that makes reading more interesting and helps motivate readers to push themselves in their reading skills. The story actually makes you want to keep going to find out what happened next.
Very nicely written. Based on this, I’m actually kind of intrigued to watch the show.
