I have not watched the Nella the Princess Knight show, but after reading a few of these books I’m actually kind of intrigued by it.
This book is a Step 2 reader recommended for preschool to grade one. It uses short sentences and simple vocabulary.
The story was very well written. Sometimes Step 2 readers are a bit disappointing when they are just description rather than actual story. This one has a nice balance of simplicity and plot. The story is engaging and interesting, helping motivate readers to push themselves in their reading skills to find out what happens next.
I loved Nella’s quick thinking and problem solving in the story as well as the focus on how being different isn’t a bad thing.
Wonderfully written book with fun illustrations.
