I received a free audiobook from the author.
This was a great start to the series and I really enjoyed the premise. It was interesting to figure out the world setup as the story progressed. Good overall pacing with a lot going on.
I am not a big fan of love triangles (or whatever shape this one ended up being), but there are enough plot points besides the awkward flirting to make the book a good read.
Well-written and unique. I was completely hooked when the “secret” of Arcadia was revealed. It was a fascinating concept and I like the direction the series is taking.
