Okay read. As I’ve said in other reviews, I have a love/hate relationship with Chelsea Handler. I can find her humor funny at times, but I’m not a huge fan of offensive, derogatory humor. Plus, I don’t really like lying, which she is very proud of doing.
For the most part, I felt this book was kind of boring. The stories really dragged on and weren’t that interesting to me. Many of them felt like “you had to be there” moments. While there were parts I didn’t like, I enjoyed Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea more than this one. The stories in this one often devolved into odd rambling that perhaps could have been written more concisely for better appeal.
If you’re looking for zany misadventures, this book definitely has got you covered. From nighttime drug-fueled rescue missions to wheeling a drunk person through a hotel movie-viewing, this definitely has some crazy stuff going on.
Relatively easy, low-stress read for those looking for a laugh who don’t mind off-color humor.
