What a phenomenal read. I was hooked from the start. The story was interesting, the characters are complex, and the artwork is absolutely stunning. Amazing read and a wonderful start to a series that I will most certainly be continuing.
The book itself is gorgeous. I really enjoyed all of the detail and the creative world-building present on every page. Whether it’s an ancient library/laboratory, a dark fantasy world, or a swarm of creepy monsters, the artwork is intricate and amazing. There is a real beauty to this book that I really enjoyed. Great use of color and contrast on every page.
The plot is fast-paced and action-packed. Once the scene is set, things start happening and never stop. The reader is taken on a fantastical adventure with a great cast of characters. This book sweeps the reader off their feet and takes them for a ride until the very end.
Already looking forward to reading the second book.
