A beautiful book that provides information, inspiration, and beauty.

Hall takes the reader through the world of sea glass, from how it’s formed, the impact of the elements, and search techniques, to the colors, shapes, and specific treasures to be found. She also includes information on what to do with pieces, complete with drilling instructions and cleaning tips, as well as some ideas for projects such as shadowboxes, frames, and jewelry.

Along the way, Hall also shares stories from others on their favorite pieces and their discovery. The photos included from Jane Milton and Carly Boertien are stunning and really bring the treasures to life. Each chapter is also accompanied by a poem from Rachel Leslie.

A fun book for beachcombing enthusiasts and newcomers alike. There is a thrill to the hunt and such joy in the discovery, which emanates throughout the book. Every time I picked it up, the pull to the beach grew stronger. Can’t wait to hunt for my next piece of beach glass.
