I have essentially been reading this series backwards, because clearly I am a functioning adult. I read Herding Cats first (and loved it!) and then Big Mushy Happy Lump (and also loved it). And then I read this one. I have a problem with reading series out of order apparently.

Anyway, I can definitely tell that this is an older collection. It was very good. Funny and relatable. But not as… I’m not even sure how to describe it. Not as adult? Well-rounded? I don’t know. One of the things I really liked about the later two books is that they are funny, but also have their serious moments. They bring up bullies, trolls, working on the self, etc. There is a good balance. This one is mostly just fun, which there is nothing wrong with. The other two books are just a little more mature and I liked them a tiny bit more. Still a very good book and I am glad I read it. It really brought me back to my undergrad days (and hopefully my upcoming grad school days- fingers crossed I get accepted).

Overall, great collection of comics that are very funny and easy to relate to.
