| I really liked the heroine of this story. She is strong and powerful, but still makes mistakes and has weaknesses. While she is gifted in many ways, in other ways she is very human. She is also very sarcastic, which leads to humorous narrative.The story itself was cool. There are a lot of tangents like going to a fancy restaurant and seeing a concert, which add to the monstrous length of the book, but I really did like the story. There’s adventure and mystery, humor and drama. It is pretty well rounded. I am definitely planning on checking out the rest of the series. |
