An exciting adventure featuring a misunderstood wolf, his attempts to turn around the reputation of carnivores from land and sea, and the mayhem that ensues along the way. I enjoyed the twist on the gray area between “good” and “bad” and the theme of carnivores being misunderstood. Similar style to picture books like Misunderstood Shark and The True Story of the 3 Little Pigs. Always fun to see a new spin on classic “villains”.
In the vein of The Adventures of Captain Underpants, Blabey combines text and illustrations for an immersive experience that breaks the forth wall and allows the reader to engage with the characters. Great for reluctant readers and book-lovers alike.
A fun start to a series that promises humor and adventure at every turn.
