An absolutely charming tale. It is so easy to get swept up by the story of the Fossiles.
At some point, I would like to go back and read the actual book. I listened to the audiobook version that is a dramatization rather than a reading of the full book. It was very well done, but I feel I missed out on some of the narration by listening to this version.
Overall, the dramatization was well done. The sound effect and and added dialogue kept the story moving and told the reader what was happening in the scene. Some areas were a bit choppy because of the lack of narration, but it was very engaging and a wonderful experience.
As for the story, I instantly fell in love. I adored the odd characters and unique set up. Such a fascinating novel. As soon as it was done, I wanted more. Fantastic book that I am certainly planning on reading again as well as other books by Streatfeild.
