I saw the cover of this and instantly wanted to read it. It was only partway through the I realized it was written by the amazing writing team of Goetter and Riess.
A fun and engaging way to learn about various elements of storytelling. Bitsy wants to be a narrator and her best friend Boozle reluctantly agrees to be her protagonist. She sends him on a quest up Story Mountain to find his happily ever after, but the two disagree on how the story should unfold.
Learn about elements such as time skips, montages, and flashbacks. Chart the story through the rising action, climax, and falling action. Learn about the conflict, dilemma, and denouement.
Such an entertaining read the is full of humor and adorable illustrations.
There is a nice little glossary at the back where Bitsy’s sisters, Prima and Midi, define the storytelling elements used in the story.
An informative book with plenty of humor and fun to keep it engaging. A really cute read.
