Beautiful and gruesome. The horror romance I didn’t know I was looking for. It somehow manages to perfectly balance cozy and unsettling.
One of those reads you just can’t look away from. Perfectly paced, it draws you in no matter how much you want to look away.
I loved the way Dawson planted little disconcerting seeds along the way. You follow her breadcrumbs; you know where it’s heading. But you cannot abandon this journey, no matter how viciously your brains tells you to run in the opposite direction.
Well-crafted with lush descriptions, a homey setting, and a delectable darkness. Perfect for fans who like their horror slow-paced with a jaw-dropping finale.
