With the rise of female-centered biography list books for readers young and old such as Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls: 100 Tales of Extraordinary WomenWomen Who Dared: 52 Stories of Fearless Daredevils, Adventurers, and Rebels, and Wonder Women: 25 Innovators, Inventors, and Trailblazers Who Changed History, it was only a matter of time until they put out one for Harry Potter fans.

Overall, I enjoyed the book. The best part is definitely the artwork. The illustrations are lovely. Some of the profiles are a bit irritating in that they are a little inaccurate and repetitive. They are also based on the films rather than the books. Some of the information is just a bit off like the claim that Luna was looking for Wrackspurts with her Spectrespecs but “found Harry instead”. The reason she found Harry was because she found the Wrackspurts as evidenced in her assertion that “your head is full of them”. Even though the task of finding Harry on the train is given to Tonks in the book, the film-based information presented is a bit misleading.

Nice book for Harry Potter fans though no new information is provided. It just brings together various awesome females from the series, including the Fantastic Beasts films. Worth the read for the artwork alone. It was also fun to read the lists of various cunning, brave, heroic deeds of various characters.
