A great Paw Patrol book about facing your fears. The story was very well set up with the pups facing their fears to encourage Alex to go to the dentist. Chase also has to go to the dentist, which is perfect for encouraging readers who themselves may not like to go. “Look, even Chase has to go to the dentist.” The book does not actually show any of the dentist visits, just the before and after, but I think it is still a good tool to use before a check up. I got this book last week because one of the kids I work with loves Paw Patrol. It is perfect timing because he has a dentist appointment this week. I am planning on reading this to him before to show him that everyone goes to the dentist and you don’t have to be afraid. Good read and a great tool for parents.
