A sweet, adorable tale about cooking, finding your passions, gaining confidence, and always having friends by your side. Such a cute story.
Melendez provides a fresh, fun look at life after college complete with the struggles of finding a job, dealing with overbearing parents, new crushes, and fights with friends. Plenty of romantic tension and humor to round out the read. It’s a nice combo of rom-com, cookbook, and coming-of-age story.
Fun illustrations that brought the world to life. Loved the fantastical elements featuring Liz as Ben’s conscience and Watson, the taste-testing pig.
Complete with fun bonus materials in the back including a Meet the Characters section and illustrated recipes.
