Growing up, I loved the Magic Tree House series. I had the first four and read them over and over again. Now, as an adult, I’ve made the habit of going back and re-reading them as well as the later books that I never read.
This is such a fantastic book. Simple, yet fast-paced and exciting. I love the little tidbits of facts about dinosaurs that the author includes while still creating a fascinating story. Having recently read a few of the later book, it was a fun experience to go back to the book that started it all.
Wonderful, simple style that allows for quick reading. The text is easy to engage with and the illustrations nicely add to the events in the story.
Fantastic book. Great read. It really sets up the series well.
