It has been a while since I watched the Dinotrux show on Netflix, but from what I remember this is basically a summary of what happened in the first episode when all of our favorite dinotrux meet and learn to work together.

Good story overall.

I do think it was kind of wordy so this book is best for older children. Not sure if it was because I already knew what would happen or if it was just too long, but I got a little bored partway through. The writing was fine, but the story should probably have been condensed a bit.

The illustrations are okay. You can tell they are just taken directly from the show. They have that ugly blurry quality of basically being screenshots.

Okay good read for older kids who like the show or enjoyed the original Dinotrux book.
