Nice read. A little choppy, but that is understandable considering it is a Step 1 reader. This book uses simple sentences and repetition for beginning readers (preschool and kindergarten).

This is a cute little story about how Tiana turns an undesirable situation into a fun one.

Overall, I liked it. The simplicity of it did leave some questions unanswered (so, wait, was she able to fix the heater? because she should probably solve that first before making treats, just saying).
