Messy drawers are no fun for anyone. You can clean them out, but keeping them clean is just another battle. Luckily, a little organization can go a long way. Here is an simple upcycling project that is quick, easy, and can keep down the clutter.
Supplies:
Empty wipes container Scissors Decorative paper Markers Plastic bag (optional)
1. Remove the lid of the wipes container.
2. Using your scissors, cut out the center piece of the lid.
3. Decorate the container as desired. I wrapped a page from a magazine around the tube and secured in place with tape.
4. Add a label to make finding things in your drawers quick and easy.
5. If you are putting kitchen items in the containers that may come into contact with food (disposable utensils), you can add a liner to it so the container does not make direct contact with the items. To do this, insert a plastic bag into the container. I just a produce bag.
6. Put the lid on the container over the plastic bag.
7. Trim off the excess with a pair of scissors.
8. Add sorted items to the containers and declutter those drawers.
Use the containers to organize the clutter. Store containers in drawers or cabinets to easily find various items.
