| This is a very humorous book which includes a variety of poems. The age range varies on the poems, as I feel that there are some that are best enjoyed by younger children, but a lot that can only be understood by those who are older. This is also a book that can be enjoyed by adults as well.
There was also variability in the tone of the poems; some were complete nonsense, others were funny, and others were serious and thought-provoking. A good mix of ideas and themes.
I really liked all of the puns and word play used in the poems. Very creative.
A very good collection of fun poems. I can’t wait to read the Silverstein’s other books.
