A light-hearted gothic romance between a vampire and a werewolf told in similar slice-of-life style to Andersen’s Sarah’s Scribbles series. Really enjoyed the different art style for this one. It worked very well for the mood and the characters (and it was gorgeous!).
This book gives a humorous look at some of the struggles and quirks of paranormal relationships with plenty of puns and adorable moments thrown in.
Such a cute little story. Certainly darker than Sarah’s Scribbles with plenty of references to murder, Satanism, and dark magic, but what did you expect from a book about a vampire and werewolf falling in love?
Also the hardcover itself is absolutely gorgeous. The deep-red cover and the black-edged pages really lived up to the aesthetic of the book.
Great read for fans of vampire humor who don’t shy away from puns (and appreciate poking fun at Twilight). A lovely little romance with a dark aesthetic.
