A stunning picture book about two siblings preparing for Holi. The story goes through the basics of how they prepare for the holiday, including making colorful powders. Then they gather with their neighbors, friends, and family, and the fun begins.
Beautiful illustrations that bring the story to life. Nice emphasis on color, which makes it a great resource for teaching and reinforcing color identification. There is also an Author’s Note at the end that gives a little information about the celebration of Holi.
A simple, yet lovely read that nicely captures the colors of Holi.
