An adorable story featuring Oaken from Frozen. I was really excited what I found this book at the library. I have read a lot of books that center around either Anna or Elsa (or sometimes Olaf), but it was really intriguing to find a book about Oaken.
The story itself is very cute. Great plot. The illustrations are also splendid. I especially enjoyed the ones depicting Oaken’s gorgeous invention. There is a strong message of perseverance and the importance of family, which was wonderful. I was a little bummed not to see the man and children from the film (who are suggested to be his husband and kids), but it was still fun to see his other family members.
Just a beautiful book all around.
