A simple, humorous book about how to break overwhelming tasks into manageable chunks.

No, there is nothing overly insightful in the book. It is all pretty obvious stuff, but sometimes you just need someone to tell you to do it in order to do it. This book can help with that.

Written in a very funny way, this casual self-help book is entertaining and helpful. There are various tips and exercises, but it really all boils down to breaking up work to solve problems. Knight states that to do any task you need to make a plan, set out time to complete the plan, then focus on completing the plan. Again, not overly complex stuff, but it can help make life seem more manageable.

The audiobook is read by the author, which is always a plus. And there is a bonus disk that includes a PDF of the charts and a sweet coloring page.

Definitely worth at least checking it out from the library and giving it a listen.

Overall, a good book for people who want to make (small or big) changes in their lives. This is a simple, but manageable technique to getting things done and getting your life together. Plus, who doesn’t love self-help books that swear?

  1. I should probably read this. It may be obvious but simetimes we need to be reminded when we are overthinking and stressing ourselves out. We all need to give ourselves a break once in awhile. Thanks for the review.
