A stunning graphic novel featuring all sorts of ghosts from spooky to friendly to downright adorable. A great adventure with plenty of humor, friendship, and mischief along the way.
I loved this book. July Chen’s yin-yang eyes allow her to see ghosts. She usually tries to ignore them, but when she encounters a wandering soul who refuses to be ignored, she must face unfathomable dangers and an impossible decision.
The artwork is wonderful. Loved the colors, humor, and action. I especially enjoyed the various ghost designs.
The story itself was so engaging. I did not want to put it down. There are so many cool elements in this book.
Equal parts adorable and spooky. This is a heartwarming read with a unique adventure. Will definitely be reading more from Lai.
