A sweet, rhyming board book that celebrates a few winter holidays.
The book shows families celebrating Christmas, Chanukah, and Kwanzaa, as well as Christmukkah. A nice read especially for talking about how each holiday is celebrated. The pictures feature different elements such as a unity cup, mazoa, and kinara for Kwanzaa; a dreidel, latkes, and gelt for Chanukah; and stockings, a tree, and cookies for Santa for Christmas.
Love the inclusive illustrations, which feature a single father, a boy who uses a wheelchair, interracial couples, a multigenerational family, and LGBTQ families.
Though each family celebrates their own special way, the neighbors come together at the end to share and celebrate together.
A lovely little book that promotes inclusivity and community.
