While marketed as “full of feminist attitude, wisdom, and killer advice”, this book is literally just quotes from the show along with pictures. There are some great quotes, but it’s not much more than a coffee table book for die-hard Buffy fans.
Some of the quotes were helpful and inspiring reminders (“Sometimes the most adult thing you can do is ask for help when you need it.”), while others (while funny) weren’t really that relevant for every day life (“Thank god we’re hot chicks with superpowers.”).
Overall, okay book. It does make me want to re-watch all of the seasons of Buffy, so there is that.
