Wholesome and delightful. Welcome to Cafe Hachiware, a mysterious cat cafe that only presents itself to weary souls. Inside, you’ll find a cat barista, ready to make you the drink he thinks you need and offer some helpful advice.
Each chapter presents a trouble human with their own problem. From standing up for yourself to keeping secrets to suffering from bad luck, Hachi listens to it all with a reassuring presence. Nice themes of self-confidence, dealing with anxiety, self-worth, and honesty.
Beautiful artwork. The idea of a giant humanoid cat could be creepy, but instead Hachi is a wonderfully comforting presence and someone you’d want to confide in.
Especially loved the Extra Chapter, featuring Kurusu, another cat-human who finds the perfect home for foster cats through his cat cafe. Absolutely adorable.
A nice little slice-of-life story. Looking forward to reading Volume 2.
