I love this book. It is absolutely adorable. It is a pretty simple story, but the writing is so perfect that it works.

In the book, Trixie and her father go out to do laundry. All is fine until Trixie realizes that her stuffed animal, Knuffle Bunny, is gone. She does her best to communicate with her clueless father (which any parent or person who has been in charge of a small child for a few hours can relate to) to no avail. But it all works out well in the end.

I enjoyed the pictures. They are photographs with various illustrations set over them. I usually don’t like the mashup of cartoon and photograph style (such as in the Olivia books), but in this book, I think they work.

A fantastic read that is humorous and heart-warming. Very cute.
