Sad that this manga’s content is still so relevant today, but glad the real world has its own defense forces that fight for the freedom to read for all.
Iku Kasahara dreams of joining the Library Defense Force, a military group run by local governments that defends libraries and fights against the federal government’s censorship. But it’s not as easy as she initially thought. Now she must work even harder to show she can do the job, all while under the watchful eye of her critical drill instructor, Dojo.
Such a great concept for a series and this volume is executed well.
Loved the artwork.
Hints of romance, plenty of humor and action.
Includes a notes section at the back that explains some of the Japanese references.
I’m not a huge romance fan but I love the concept of this series and am enjoying the humor. Excited to read the next volume.
