| I am part of the launch team for this book.I was very impressed by this book. I loved the story. It was a cool, new take on The Little Mermaid. The writing was simple and good for young readers. Each chapter page includes an illustration, which adds complexity to the book.I really enjoyed reading about Amaya’s character. She is very easy to relate to. My favorite part of the book was probably the world-building elements of the School and other underwater places. Great descriptions and very creative. This is a great start to an interesting series. I really want to find out what happens next. |
