A fun and powerful read inspired by Dolores Huerta.

Lola loves to dance and sing, but sometimes her mother just wants her to keep it down. Taking what she’s learned from her family, when Lola sees an injustice, she does something about it. A sweet story filled with kindness, community, and strength.

The story showcases wonderful messages such as helping to fix problems when you see them and not being afraid to use your voice to speak out. Fun, engaging illustrations with wonderful movement.

The book also contains an Author’s Note at the end with a bit of information about the life and activism of Dolores Huerta.

A fantastic read to inspire and empower.
