A fun double-sided story with an emphasis on balance. Patient Pig is always prepared and Eager Eagle is always moving. But after the big basketball game doesn’t go how either of them planned, they decide to learn from one another to meet in the middle.
Great themes of teamwork, practice, and learning from others. While patience and eagerness are not inherently bad qualities, the story shows the pitfalls of too much of either. A nice showcase of the importance of preparedness, reflection, and confidence.
The artwork was wonderful. I especially liked that you can see the other character’s story unfold in the background.
A nice read with some great lessons and adorable characters.
