What an adventure. It starts with tragedy then blooms into something magnificent. Mystery, adventure, secrets, feuds, and an agency bent on chaos. I want more of this world!
Beautiful, imaginative artwork, which I’ve come to expect from Yee by now. She never disappoints. I absolutely loved Walteranne Hakim Whimsy’s character design and Safia is such an amazing character. I’d love to see more of their adventures together.
I took a few days before reviewing this because I just did not want to leave the world that Yee created in this one. Everything is so rich and lush. I really enjoyed it.
The end of the book also contains some information on Yee’s creating process, which was fun to get a peek of.
Such a great book. Highly recommend.
